Pipeline > Clinical Development of PA401

PA401 is initially being developed for patients with COPD. The first clinical study, a Phase 1 trial in healthy subjects will initiate and complete in 2012. This study will assess the safety, tolerability, immunogenicity and pharmacokinetics of single ascending and multiple doses of PA401 (Part 1A). In addition, the Company aims to carry out a proof of mechanism study (Part 1B), using a model of neutrophilic lung inflammation in subjects who also receive PA401.

The Company is also considering novel formulations of PA401 and additional routes of delivery for future clinical development.
